"A citizen has the courage to make the safety of the human race their personal responsibility." Nov 7, 1997
Freedom is a right only by responsibility. Contemplate that against what we see of wearing a mask or protesting the unequal justice process... People forget and can be clouded by insincere statements regarding freedom. Our responsibility is to our planet and each other. People have put many forms of greed ahead of this. My concern is that no matter the culture, ethnicity or creed, these individuals become a threat to freedom itself due to a lack of their connection with responsibility. As a result we continue oppression and inequality in business, politics and government.
"Greed is an equal opportunity employer"
These times seem much like the late 60's civil rights era regarding the inequality and failure to hold accountable basic human to human injustice. Then add the coronavirus and more injustice and boom...
Why is it that living and speaking the first amendment may result in death?
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
The freedom of peaceful protest is the public's voice when voting and representatives in the government are not listening. Unfortunately there are few who like to disturb this peaceful plea from the public to change the situation and create chaos that costs lives, property and the livelihood of the innocent. This creates a loose/loose situation that scars people for life. We cannot run a country this way.
The responsibility of peacefully protesting and law enforcement's presence can coexist with out violence. Citizens must remember their responsibility of their actions just as much as police and military must remember their duty serving their country and citizens.
It's time to start to consciously evolve.
Yet protests are emerging globally and yes there have been arrests but no looting or rioting.
US citizens must wake up.
More evidence of the mishandling by police.
In the past two weeks media focus has been on the BLM movement, how law enforcement and military treat our citizens when exercising their US first amendment right and responsibility of peaceful protest. Many call to "defund the police" in order to reign in the abuse of citizens by law enforcement. Police Departments across the US are now reevaluating tactics and consequences of officers that are proven to abuse the public. Due to the advancement of the ease video recording and accessibility there is overwhelming evidence that these and more changes are necessary for the citizens US to evolve. The videos are very emotional and seem to connect those who see this a threat to all citizens.
